Jesus Rocks Project

Over the past couple of years, as I've walked through my own healing journey, God showed me how something as humble and small as a painted rock can carry His love and truth in unexpected ways. In quiet, sometimes difficult moments, painting smooth stones with messages of hope, Bible verses, or simple reminders of Jesus became a gentle lifeline — a creative way to remember that He is my Solid Rock (Psalm 18:2), steady and unchanging when life feels unsteady.

These "Jesus Rocks" are just that: rocks painted with encouragement like "Jesus Loves You," "Hope in Him," a cross, a verse, or simply "Jesus Rocks!" (because He truly does!). The goal is simple and anonymous — hide them in parks, on trails, benches, or neighborhoods, or hand them to someone who might need a spark of light. No recognition needed; it's all about pointing people to Jesus, sharing His gospel of forgiveness, hope, and new life.

This Jesus Rocks Project is an open invitation for anyone to join in this quiet act of love:

  1. Paint a rock — Grab smooth stones, safe paints or markers, and add an uplifting message: a Scripture promise, symbol of faith, or word of hope centered on Jesus.
  2. Place or share it — Hide it where someone might discover it unexpectedly, or give it as a small gesture of kindness.
  3.  Let it Ripple — If you find or post about a rock, feel free to share the joy online — the focus is Jesus, not the painter.

Each rock can include a small QR code sticker (easy to add) that leads to JesusIsOurHope.com — a simple site dedicated to painted rocks sharing the gospel. There, people can discover more about Jesus as our hope, read about His life-changing message of forgiveness and eternal life, post photos of rocks they've found, connect on Facebook groups for encouragement, and visit gotquestions.org for answers to faith questions.

No pressure, no spotlight — just rocks carrying the truth that Jesus is our firm foundation and greatest hope.

Ready to Start?

Please let me know your interest HERE — I'm currently in the prayer and preparation stages of putting together simple kits (smooth rocks, paints/markers, inspiration ideas with verse suggestions, QR code stickers, and basic instructions).

If this project stirs your heart and you'd like to be kept in the loop when things are further along (or if you have thoughts, questions, or want to pray about it together), feel free to reach out via the contact form below. No commitment, just shared excitement for spreading Jesus' hope one rock at a time.

Thank you for considering being part of this simple way to share Jesus. One rock at a time, His hope can reach hearts in ways we may never see — all glory to Him alone.
